Strong accounting expertise with Tally ERP/Tally Prime and VAT knowledge **Senior Accountant** **Location:** Bahrain **Job Type:** Full\-Time **Work Mode:** On\-site **Role Overview** We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee accounting operations, ensure financial accuracy, maintain regulatory compliance, and support management with timely financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting expertise, hands\-on experience with Tally ERP/Tally Prime, and a solid understanding of VAT regulations in Bahrain. **Key Responsibilities** * Manage day\-to\-day accounting activities and financial transactions. * Maintain accurate accounting records and ledgers using Tally ERP/Tally Prime. * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. * Ensure compliance with Bahrain VAT regulations, including filing and reporting requirements. * Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audit processes. * Conduct monthly and year\-end stock verification and reconciliation. * Prepare payroll\-related reports and support payroll processing activities. * Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial performance. * Reconcile bank accounts and oversee accounts payable and receivable functions. * Prepare financial and management reports for decision\-making purposes. * Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. * Identify opportunities to improve financial controls and cost efficiency. * Knowledge of costing and cost analysis will be considered an advantage. **Qualifications \& Requirements** * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * Proven experience in accounting and financial reporting. * Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime. * Experience with VAT compliance and reporting. * Familiarity with audit procedures and financial controls. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. * Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines. **Do you have hands\-on experience with Tally ERP/Tally Prime?** **Work Location:** Bahrain (On\-site) Application Question(s): * Do you have hands\-on experience with Tally ERP/Tally Prime?
