Summary: Join our team as a Backend Engineer to design, build, and maintain server-side architecture for our Event & Exhibition Management Platform. Highlights: 1. Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python and Django. 2. Build and optimize RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework (DRF). 3. Collaborate with frontend developers for seamless user experiences. We are seeking a talented Backend Engineer to join our team and play a key role in developing our Event \& Exhibition Management Platform. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the server\-side architecture that powers our operations, client portals, and business workflows. Working closely with our frontend development team, you will create scalable, secure, and high\-performance systems that support complex event and exhibition management processes. **Key Responsibilities** * Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python and Django. * Build and optimize RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework (DRF). * Design and manage PostgreSQL database schemas, relationships, and performance optimization. * Implement business logic and workflows for event and exhibition operations. * Ensure application security through proper authentication and authorization practices. * Collaborate with frontend developers to deliver seamless user experiences. * Participate in code reviews and maintain high coding standards using Git\-based workflows. **Requirements** * 3–5 years of professional backend development experience. * Strong proficiency in Python and Django. * Proven experience building REST APIs with Django REST Framework (DRF). * Solid understanding of PostgreSQL, including schema design, database relationships, and query optimization. * Strong knowledge of authentication, authorization, and API best practices. * Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows. **Nice to Have** * Experience with pytest and automated testing. * Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines. * Experience with Docker and containerized deployments. * Familiarity with Celery or background job processing. * Experience working with multi\-tenant applications. * Previous experience in event technology, SaaS platforms, or enterprise systems. **Location** Bahrain (Preferred) **Application Process** Interested candidates are invited to submit their CV and portfolio/GitHub profile (if available).
