Summary: This role involves maintaining, enhancing, and monitoring banking production modules, providing functional support, managing installations, and ensuring system stability and availability. Highlights: 1. Ensures banking applications availability and stability. 2. Manages new components, enhancements, and project migrations. 3. Provides 1st and 2nd level functional support for major banking applications. **Job Description** The main activities of the Regional Functional Analyst are to maintain, enhance and monitor the banking production modules. He/she should Support the functional operation of all standard and non\-standard application systems according to the business needs of the organization. FA team analyse, document and propose solutions for production problems. Management of components installation, maintenance and projects going \-live on production/preproduction machines. All installations on production machines are under the responsibilities of the Functional Assistance team this includes the implementation of the recommendations of Audit, inspections and IT security. First level of functional support for all incidents received in the team’s mailbox before the transfer to the 2nd level. Prepare and maintain the production dashboard reporting all productions activities to be submitted to the Head of the team. Point of contact between the Middle East, production teams in Paris and various local vendors. Responsibilities  Periodic \& frequent reporting to the Head of the Team.  Guarantor of the banking applications availability and stability.  Establish the required business processes to support the bank’s functional requirements.  Activation of the escalation procedure (in HO or internally) whenever needed.  Manage new components, enhancement, and maintenance tasks and projects migration on production machines.  1st and 2nd level of functional support for the major banking applications of the platform and for all users in the Middle\-East and Africa Territories and for the Production Teams in Paris  Plan ,design and perform a periodic database/applications tuning and performance monitoring  Writing Technical and Functional requirement for the business requests.  Responsible for the conformity and surveillance of production banking modules, Perform an impact analysis of any changes to be performed on the production environments.  Responsible for applying tasks and controls which contribute to the quality of the processes to ensure that the banking end of day and end of month results are accurate, exhaustive, and timely.  Periodic Clean\-up and decommissioning maintenance on the productions processes/machines.  Ensure that all production procedures are well written and maintained.  Prepare and maintain the production dashboards which record all productions activities  Ensure the entire software enhancement and new development are tested and updated.  To manage day to day change requests in relation to the department’s project plans to ensure agreed deadlines are met.  Manage the daily activities of production to ensure timely and effective reporting, tracking, follow\-up and communication of problems to the impacted users, technical resources, and Management  To follow up activities and produce incidents status to its management progress against outstanding milestones, status, resource requirements, issues, risks and dependencies.  Review, determine and manage testing needs with regard to new systems and system enhancements  To document the systems and functional processes making it easy for the new comers to understand the system.  Organize, coordinate and manage migrations of MEA GB production assets  Close follow\-up of the progress of corrections of incidents.  Ensure that all incidents/requests/Changes/Problems are well logged in ITSM – incident management tool, and draft the Production Incidents report once resolved.  Availability to resolve all incidents related to its domain of activities within the standard control and security standards **Requirements** * General knowledge of banking activities and operations * Good Knowledge of analyzing, documenting, writing down functional specifications and interacting with end users * Good knowledge of activity planning * Good knowledge of Unix technology * Good sense of Change management * Good knowledge of ORACLE Databases, SQL, and PL/SQL * Good level with Office work management tools * Good command of in Networking and Infrastructure concepts, principles and solutions * Good command of IT Security concepts, principles, protocols, and solutions. * Capable of developing/enhancing business solutions using programming languages such as Unix shall script , ORACLE SQL \& PLSQL ,COBOL, and JAVA * Strong communication skills * Ability to work independently * Ability to monitor multiple tasks * Flexible with travelling * Available on Call. * Availability for extra hours of work, from time to time Qualifications * Education: Minimum B.S.C in computer science or Information systems * \_\_3\_\_ Years of experience (Overall and relevant experience) * Language fluent English Pay: BD700\.000 \- BD1,200\.000 per month Work Location: In person
