Summary: This role involves maintaining outdoor grounds, gardens, lawns, plants, trees, and irrigation systems to ensure the property remains clean, healthy, safe, and visually appealing. Highlights: 1. Maintain lawns, gardens, and landscaped areas for visual appeal. 2. Operate and maintain irrigation systems, identifying and resolving issues. 3. Work outdoors, utilizing various landscaping tools and equipment safely. The Landscape Technician/Gardener is responsible for maintaining outdoor grounds, gardens, lawns, plants, trees, and irrigation systems. This role requires hands\-on experience with gardening, landscape maintenance, irrigation operation, and general grounds upkeep to ensure the property remains clean, healthy, safe, and visually appealing. Key Responsibilities * Maintain lawns, gardens, flower beds, shrubs, trees, and landscaped areas. * Plant, trim, prune, weed, mulch, fertilize, and water plants as needed. * Operate, monitor, and perform basic maintenance on irrigation systems. * Identify irrigation issues such as leaks, broken sprinkler heads, low pressure, or coverage problems. * Adjust sprinkler heads, timers, valves, and watering schedules based on plant and seasonal needs. * Mow, edge, trim, blow, rake, and clean outdoor areas. * Apply fertilizers, soil amendments, and pest/weed control products according to safety guidelines. * Remove debris, leaves, branches, weeds, and other waste from landscaped areas. * Use and maintain landscaping tools and equipment safely. * Report landscape damage, plant disease, irrigation malfunctions, or safety hazards. * Assist with seasonal landscaping projects and property beautification. * Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean work area. Qualifications * Previous experience in landscaping, gardening, groundskeeping, or property maintenance preferred. * Working knowledge of irrigation systems and basic troubleshooting. * Knowledge of plants, flowers, shrubs, soil care, pruning, and watering needs. * Ability to operate landscaping tools and equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, hedge clippers, and hand tools. * Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. * Ability to lift, bend, kneel, stand, and walk for extended periods. * Reliable, detail\-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.Skills and Competencies * Irrigation system knowledge * Gardening and plant care * Landscape maintenance * Equipment safety * Attention to detail * Problem\-solving * Time management * Dependability * Physical stamina Work Location: In person
